Little League phenom Mo’ne Davis is being featured in a Disney Channel movie.

The film is in the development stages and it titled “Throw Like Mo.” It will tell the story of the 13-year-old who last summer made history as the first girl to pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series.

A member of Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons, Davis then became the first Little Leaguer to make the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine.

Davis will work as a consultant on the movie, and she says she hopes it will encourage others to believe their dreams can come true.

The cast has not been selected nor has an air date been specified.
