For a week, Actress Gwyneth Paltrow will attempt to live off of the $29 that is the budget of recipients of the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP). This is in response to a #FoodBankNYCChallenge  from celebrity chef Mario Batali. Recently, programs like SNAP have been in the news due to recent pushes to limit the scope of these programs in states like Kansas.
