Ferguson October

The month of October is being claimed by protesters in Ferguson as the turning point in the Michael Brown case. On Monday activist academic Cornel West and dozens of others, including clergy, were arrested as they attempted to cross a police line during one of the Ferguson October events. In the weeks since the August 9th shooting death of the teenager by white police officer Darren Wilson, there have been persistent calls for Wilson’s arrest. A grand jury is still considering evidence in the case and will determine if charges will be filed. At a U.S. Conference of Mayors Conference at the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock,  Attorney General Eric Holder and former President Bill Clinton talked about Ferguson and community policing.
